winter wonder yah

i woke up this morning and the world was fluffy white. trust minnesota to deliver. it's still snowing like a banshee. (i think like a banshee is a minnesota thing) Kari and I had a GREAT drive, semi-adventureous, and she met my family and now she is somewhere near Duluth, probably covered in more snow that we are.
now i need some snow pants so i can go sledding. well ok i think i will just go to target instead.....and eat turkey leftovers later.

luckily my mom's headache subsided in the middle of the night on wednesday. so, she and my dad drove down to the winter wonderland of the twin cities.

you and i did have a fantastic road trip. and tomorrow's will be just as good.

the best part of arriving in town with you was staring at everyone together. i have yet to see anyone i actually know... but i haven't left my sister's house since wednesday night either. so my opportunities have been non-existent.

i have mostly stayed here at my parents and have not run into anyone either-i even went to target on university, a place where you are guaranteed to run into someone but nope, no old faces. ah well it's better this way. we will see plenty of faces when we go to the reunion next fall...if it happens.....
